TERMS & CONDITIONS

Pacific Park is a property of Te Maru Limited

Bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.

On Check-in, you may be required to verify your identity with photo ID. Bookings to be made by persons over 18 only.

These terms and conditions subject to change. They are available in person. Any disparity reverts back to these Terms and Conditions.

 

THE PARK:

  1. Premises let for short term/ holiday purposes only. The booking confirmation forms the basis for agreed rate, duration, occupants, etc.. Functions and parties on the premises are strictly not allowed.
  2. Persons found occupying the premises above the registered number may incur additional fee or early termination for breach. Maximum occupancy of any given room is set and may not be increased without consent of management.
  3. No responsibility taken for personal property or property left behind. Handling fee plus postage charged if lost property to be returned.
  4. Group Bookings are 11 or more guests and carry special requirements.
  5. Guests under 18 must have adult supervision while onsite.
  6. Replacement accommodation key is $250 per accommodation. Lodge keys may incur additional fees.
  7. Unit/area/site may be subject to change without notice. Requests may be subject to fee.
  8. Caravan/motorhome must have current Warrant of Electrical Fitness at check-in. Any lead used to connect outdoors must have an approved RCD device. Pacific Park is not held responsible for damage as a result of connecting to our Mains.
  9. Charging of electrical devices only to be done with original charging device.  NO provision for charging EV’s onsite. Charging of EV’s must be approved by management.
  10. Use of the POOL is only for registered guests and visitors, at the users risk. Parents are responsible for child (15 and under) supervision AT ALL TIMES.

 

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS:

  1. A deposit is equal to one nights accommodation and is required to secure a booking.
  2. Remaining balance payable on arrival. All prices on this website are in NZD. Payments on Invoice may be subject to additional fees.

 

REFUNDS:

  1. Refunds are given at the sole discretion of management. No blind refunds. Bank processing times may vary.
  2. Refunds for group bonds may be delayed by accommodation inspections.

 

ON ARRIVAL:

  1. Pre-Authorisation/Security Deposit for accommodation: A valid Visa or MasterCard is required on check-in. A pre-authorised payment may be taken from your card and held as security deposit for damages, excessive cleaning or extra charges. The pre-authorisation may vary based on accommodation type. Bonds may apply to hired items. All pre-authorisation will be refundable upon check-out after inspection, less any additional charges. Individual bank processing times vary.
  2. No Refunds on Early departure.
  3. Check in is after 12PM for Campsites. Motels, Cabins and Villas check in is from 2PM. Lodges and groups check in is after 4PM. For Late Arrivals, please notify the office. Late arrivals may be subject to fee.

 

ADDITIONAL POLICIES and HOUSE RULES:

  1. Pacific Park is Smoke, Vape and Alcohol Free within our accommodation units and grounds.
  2. Absolute quiet on the grounds between 10:00pm and 7AM.
  3. Management wishes to warn guests and other persons who engage in recreational activity onsite, that such activities may result in harm or personal injury. All recreational activity is at their own risk.
  4. Guests agree to abide by any House Rules posted in any cabin, camp kitchen or recreational area and must supervise and ensure their children comply with such rules.
  5. Parking may be limited to 1 vehicle per accommodation/campsite. Trailers, boats, extra vehicles may be parked onsite at management discretion only and may incur an additional fee.
  6. Safety and consideration to other guests is critical when riding bikes, skateboards, or scooters. Helmets must be worn. Bikes, skateboards, and scooters are not to be ridden in the park after nightfall (as soon as the security lights come on) and are to be stored at accommodation/campsite.
  7. We reserve the right to charge a bond to any bookings, refundable after departure if all rules are adhered to.
  8. Pacific Park does not accept abuse in any form aimed at our staff members and/or guests. If you are found to be abusing our staff members or guests, we reserve the right to have you immediately removed from the premises without any reimbursement or accommodation costs.
  9. Pacific Park accepts no responsibility for any additional accommodation charges incurred due to an eviction from our premises.
  10. We are a family-based park and ask that you are thoughtful, to your fellow guests at all times. If you can be heard more than a site away you are too noisy. No music or radios after 10:00 pm.
  11. Swearing, bad language, antisocial behaviour or aggressive behaviour toward staff will not be tolerated at any time, day or night. Gang Insignia or patches must not be worn or displayed on premises.

 

VISITORS:

  1. Visitors must be connected to a registered guest, checked in at the office and subject to a fee. Visitors must leave by 10PM.
  2. The registered guest assumes responsibility for the visitor and management reserves the right to refuse visitor access to the park.
  3. Visitors must park offsite.

 

SPEED LIMIT:

  1. Vehicle speed onsite not to exceed 8km/h.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  1. Cancellation may be subject to $25 cancellation fee.
  2. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit deposit (first night of accommodation). Peak season (15 Dec – 7 Feb) cancellations within 60 days of arrival will forfeit deposit.
  3. Group booking cancellations within 12 weeks of arrival forfeit their deposit. Cancellation of part of a group booking within 12 weeks will be charged a part cancellation fee, which is the equivalent of 1 night tariff on the accommodation being cancelled.
  4. A grace period of “same day” cancellations may be given to refund deposits paid.
  5. Refundable portions of deposits adhere to the refund policy.

 

PET POLICY:

Pets are prohibited at all times for any length of stay including pets of visitors, on a leash, or otherwise contained.

 

Failure to follow Terms and Conditions may result in immediate termination of booking and dismissal from the premises without refund.
